Pipe Creek Flint

I'm still a little under the weather and have yet to really have a chance to hunt this year.
WEATHER--Ugh. I hope to post some new finds very soon. Until then----I'd like to share
some Pipe Creek Flint. I like to think of it as Flint Ridge North.It can be just as beautiful.

that's some really pretty material, i see why you call it flint ridge north. are those all personal finds?

Nice! Really like the colors in that material. I find a lot of colorful Boyle Chert material which is local, and a lot of glossy Carter Cave flint. Both make very pretty points.

Thanks, Yes they are personal finds,from two diff. Sandusky county sites.

You're welcome. The snow melted again up here, as long as we don't get too much rain I should be able to get out tomorrow. I'm sure to see more Pipe Creek, I just hope to see a piece that's worked.--------------------------------been too long between finds----curse this winter weather.

man, I've searched the entire internet trying to find anything for sale made of pipe creek, nothing, cant find any. Anyone know any sites with some pipe creek for sale?
