Pipe stems

These two pipe stems were found in an old town that has a colonial history, along with a civilian naval type button PBK id'd and what looks like a 22 round that found its mark. Sorry, I've tried to get this picture larger. Having no luck.

Intresting finds, I have had a few trade pipes
along the way, but got rid of all of them in trades.

I pick the stems up whenever I see them. Supposedly the reason the stems were so long was whenever they got clogged, the person would just break off bits until it was clear again.
