Hello all ,i'm new to treasure hunting and looking forward to talking to other treasure hunters and learning new things about the hobby. I'm a retired steelworker so I have the time now to really dive into metal detecting. I've tried metal detecting a few times over the years and gave it up due to other obligations. Now I am hooked for good !

Hi Pipesmoke, welcome to the forum. Now you are retired you can really start enjoying yourself, and I cant think of a better way to do it than metal detecting. I am mainly beach and shallow water hunter, but also do parks and ovals. All the info and advise you seek will be found here on the forums.
