Detector(s) used
Fischer CZ-3D
Hi Everyone:

Been detecting solid for about four months now..and think I have mastered what my stumbling block is in posting pictures! I asked my wife for a Garrett Ace 250, felt this was a decent detector for my first one. Well, she goes and buys me a Fischer CZ-3D and I am in love. I am using my time to detect parks as I feel this is a great time to get use to my detector and to learn what she has to show me.

I have been getting so upset with not finding anything of quality lately, I guess that goes with hunting in parks? Well, it was raining and I refused to go in till I found myself a ring. I did not find one ring but a total of Three! Two are junk but the third one is pure silver and old. A jeweler estimates around 40 years though the ring has no markings on it.

I have gotten so far just under 40.00 dollars in clad. I have found those chucky cheese tokens, I think that I will go there one day.

Next year I plan to attack this hobby with a passion and post and post everything I find.

Great find...I can tell you are addicted big time..LOL Keep finding....

Sounds like you had a great past four months. Great job on the booty

wtg... persistence pays off.. keep hunting... and the rain is good.. wet ground will get you deeper.. and it makes diggn easier too..

the good finds are there... just clear the trash first.

Nice ring. I found a hand-crafted silver ring with no hallmarks and I estimate it at at least 120-150 years old. My guess is that yours is much older too. Even the SW and Mexican silver tourist jewely from 40 years ago usually carried a hallmark of some sort.
