Pirate glass bottle

I found this black, pirate glass bottle today. How can I find its approximate age?

Look for a mold seam, pontal, could be a turn mold, 3 piece mold.
I'll say 1880-1885 date range, going on the one's that I have recovered in the past.

Don’t forget to provide some details on how it was obtained, and where, etc.

Your bottle is pontiled and likely dates to the 1850’s . Old, but not “pirate “ age.

So, you might consider jumping over to Sub-Forum: Select Your Area.... for information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state (or country). It's a nice one for sure. I'd say about 1820-1860.
