Pirates have been much in the news lately. Here's a true story of sunken pirate treasure:

When I was working at the Water Island Colony Club, St. Thomas, in the early 1970's, a guest out on a Sunfish lost a windbreaker with a new Omega watch (relatively inexpensive down there at the time - I still have the Rolex Submariner I purchased working there) and a couple of hundred dollars in cash in the pockets. On our lunch breaks we would take out a Sunfish and cruise the area looking for that windbreaker. We found an amazing number of sea urchins - never did find that jacket!
Good luck to all,
