Hello to All Fellow Hunters:

This is my first time posting so have patience with me if I goof up. I found this yesterday while hunting, with permission, a spot in central FL. I tried searching the internet to identify to see if it is a pistol trigger and found similar items on a Smith & Wesson site, but nothing exactly like it. Over all it measures about 1 1/4 inches in width and height. It is a ferrous material (attracts a magnet). I would appreciate knowing if I am on the right track in identification and if so, does anyone have an idea on the manufacturer and model of pistol.

Just my opinion based on how rough that casting is and it's lack of finishing, I'd venture that it's from either a toy or a lower-end air rifle of some make.

Does look like a trigger to something.

With the casting marks and color, I am leaning towards a toy gun trigger, but I hope I am wrong!

ETA: Another clue is that the number is raised not stamped IMHO.

Sounds logical. Thanks for your comment.

I agree, most likely a cap gun or other toy gun. Definitely not a real one.

I agree that it is likely the trigger assembly from a toy cap gun (revolver) or similar toy revolver!
