After I cleaned up after the river pigs there was some pizza crust left,so I tossed it out for the crows, little did I know the goose family was to come ashore and clean up the corn people use for fishing(the goslings anyway.)

Mama grabbed the crust and kept it all to her self, she wouldn't let the young ones have any,she ate all three pieces after dipping in in the water to soften it up a bit.

River pigs are everywhere. My chickens love pizza.

My "new" chickens like pizza, pound cake, blueberries, salad, raspberries, green beans, cooked egg, bananas (but complain because it sticks to their beaks), croissants, cheese, cicadas (Buff hogs them all), spinach and donuts.

Pretty sad and thanks for cleaning things up.

Pretty sad and thanks for cleaning things up.

It gets to a point I have to,I like a CLEAN fishing area,I do know they are from across the river from the city of Springfield too.I do not cross the bridge to the other side unless I absolutely have to,which by the way is not very often.

We used to go camping on the spoil islands in the Indian River here in Florida. The 1st thing we did was bring the heavy-duty construction garbage bags, rakes and gloves and spend the 1st hour cleaning up the island. We'd hide it in the brush then load it on the boat when we left & throw it in dumpsters which were at the boat dock. Never understand the mentality of people enjoying nature only to trash it for the next person!KIMG0330.webp
