There is one mine entrance in this area that I have been to. There is a story that I recently found from a 1901 mining review that says there are several more in this area. Would some of you be kind enough to dowse this map and see what you come up with. I'll show the exact location of the mine I know of for sure after, just for fun.

Hi 2fishon,
My dowse revealed that in the white circle area is a concealed mine entrance.
Green rectangle area is a high concentration of alluvial gold deposits.

Thanks for all of the replies. I plan to investigate each of the sites that were dowsed. That's some pretty nasty country, but it's a fairly small area. The mine that we opened last year is marked in red.
