Hi. I’m stupid. I took my Garrett at pro with Garrett dd coil and ruined it. Basically I found the connector had some kind of problem, and ended up ripping the two plug wires up! I got the detector side pinned out
It has 4 wires black red green white
I know which pins they are and found a pic on the web to verify that
It’s the coil side I am stuck at
It’s a dd coil with two shielded wires x 2 wires in them
So I’m guessing that each represents a loop and the ohms is correct with one being 40 ohm and the other being 6 ohm
In addition there is an additional single green wire
Can anyone tell me which of the 4 wires
go to which of the two shielded wires and the green?
It would save me the embarrassment of admitting to my son I messed up and that we can’t go metal detecting anymore
