Found this yesterday at an old school in Southern Delaware using my XP Deus II (HC High Conductor Program, Sens 95, Discrim 7, Reactivity 2.5, & Full Tones) came up solid 99 @ about 12" deep at least! Sure looks like silver, but no mint mark anywhere, and a very strange obverse side...suspect it's something decorative, but thought I'd throw a few pics out to my fellow adventurers & see what you folks make of it. I added a Mercury Dime for size comparison :hello:

Cru’: is there a way to tell them apart? Henry VII vs Henry VIII designs, I mean.
Not sure without my book, but now you mention it, its far more likely to be a souvenir of Henry VIII than the VII, as he is far more infamous.

Now checked my book, I think the only difference I can see is in the Scepter that they are holding. This copy does more closely match Henry VIII.
These coins are very impressive & some of the largest British Gold coins ever produced at about 43mm - 15.55g now worth over £40,000 in VF or better.
What is odd is the sudo-Mint Mark at the start of the Obverse Legend doesn't fit either Henry VII or VIII - might be deliberate.
