This rock was found on the beach in Charleston, SC. Although I have found other shiny and jagged black rocks, this one is super unique because it has blue iridescence throughout. Although I tried to get the clearest photos possible, they don't do it justice when seen in person. Hopefully someone can identify it!!

Maybe someone from your area can help you with a definite answer. It could possibly be a partiality piece of opalized wood?

Thanks for info...I have a black light in my son's room but I am not certain that it is a true fluorescent light. I will try and locating one update you because it does not glow under the one that he had
