Knowing the general area of WHERE you found it might help narrow down the possibilities - country, state, farm field, creek bed, ocean beach, volcano crater, distant planet...?
That is an extremely interesting rock, but who ever did those cuts had his own ideas, because I have not the faintest thought of what it might be, or why anyone would do that. Very interesting find. Welcome to T Net.
Hi Everybody and thanks for your answers! Bradyboy, its a single stone viewed from different angles. And I also don't have any idea what could it be. If it was made by a human, then for what purpose? Was it a household item or a religious symbol?
It is a very interesting piece and if you can ever trace it's origin, then it may be of great value! I would advise taking the piece or send photos to an Archaelogical Department of a nearby University and get their opinion. You never know but it could be a major archaelogical find!
Thank you, Frank. I have the same thoughts - to show this stone to specialists working in archaeological museum or university. However, I still hope to find answers with the help of knowledgable people on this forum. Maybe someone have seen something like this stone or has any ideas of what it could be
