We found several small caves on my buddies property in greenup ky. They are all in the center of washes going up the large hillsides. Very small openings but we can fit. Inside it is 4 ft. High and a few larger rooms. Are these good caves for artifacts or would they be a waste to dig . No water was inside. Thanks so much.

Yes. Dig I found artifacts In small overhang

Opening was bigger thousands of years ago .. Ya know ? Over time they fill in with dirt and leaves

If there is no apparent danger, in digging, to open the cave, especially, no water, I would definitely go for it!
