It looks like Amethyst.

It looks like a piece of a poorly formed Geode with both clouded and fractured Quartz and Amethyst crystals. I doubt that it would have much value unless you find some specks of Gold in it. If so, then you might want to break it apart, crush the pieces and pan the Gold out.
