Can anyone identify this button? It was found in a wooded area in Oysterbay LI

That’s the Bretagne (Brittany, France) coat of arms. The seller of this piece doesn’t have it quite right. The motto on the bottom scroll is not “AMAVIE”, but “A MA VIE”, meaning “my life until I die.”
