Here is my haul from a weekend hunt with Vino. For those of you who missed his post, he posted his incredible belt plate, with accoutrements, find yesterday. While the belt plate takes the cake, I had a pretty productive hunt myself. One of the first signals of the day was a large vintage silver ring with a turquoise stone. I also found a gold filled ring with a cats eye and diamond chip. My other finds include two crotal bells, a flattened pewter spoon tip, a silver monogramed plate "HED" complete with English hallmarks, an engraved "ARJ" sterling silverware piece, a copper chain (which we believe was a pocket watch fob), a brass buckle and ring, a 1956 D Washington quarter, a 1945 P War nickel, a Youth Childhood Association pendant, a crusty 1803 Draped Bust LC, a musket butt plate, and my favorite: a Blaine & Logan Presidential candidate token from the election of 1884, complete with gold gilt.

I had to check this post, simply because I had to see a "plethora." It definitely is!

Awesome hunt, with some great finds. Makes me wonder how many people see something like that silver plate, and think "Trash."
