Pocket opened up!

I got up really early on Wednesday and headed up to the pocket I was working on before I had to go to work. (I didn't need to be there until 1pm) mucked out my hole and broke out the lip around the pocket so I didn't have to crawl inside it. LOTS of clay now! I pulled these crystals out and the pocket is widening like if a shark was slowly opening it's mouth lol! I can poke my screwdriver into the clay and it just seems to keep going.....I am positive there will be more coming out of it! Some ugly crystals, and some huge shattered ones. (they have lots of little inclusions), but I'll continue on because there could be good ones! I'll keep updating as I go!

Very nice Congrats !!!!! Checked on my hole just the other day , it still has about 10" of snow on it,can't wait till it melts! Looking forward to seeing what else is waiting in yours

Wow congrats! There really is no feeling like opening up a big ol' pocket of crystals. This one looks promising for sure! Looks a lot like the last pocket I was fortunate enough to discover...ended up pulling out 200+ lbs. of killer smokies. Good luck with the rest of the dig!

I feel your pain, up until this week, it was snowing every week in April, I had one day that it snowed about 4 inches on me in less than an hour, and I had to get out! (I ignored the winter storm warning we had, bad Idea!)
