I found part of a pocket watch, it has this stamp, does anyone know anything about it

With just the cover thats tough to date it. I found a pocket watch and you want to see excites it is GOLD!! gold filled pfft I cleaned it and was able to open it up with the mode number I was able to get a manufactured date from a web sight.

Yes, it’s a Dueber mark (originally of Cincinnati). In 1888 they bought the Hampden Watch Company of New York and John C. Dueber moved them both to Canton, Ohio, where Hampden used Dueber’s cases with that trademark from 1905 until the companies merged as Hampden-Dueber in 1923.
