Killer points, Hal!! The old stuff gets so thick with patina they get downright chalky sometimes! Big "blade" was found at the shoreline and DEEP in the hole. Might be same material as your Bolen/Greenbriar. Knife form is made of a greasy agate and was found in the same hole though at least a foot above the big blade. I got it first of course and decided to dig one last deep, small hole and hit the blade. Bet it was a full pony deep.rindbaseknife (1).webplaketarpon.webp

Nice ones Tom, crazy how patination works on dif. stuff...beautiful greasy...Blade smacks of paleo.ive seen em from archaic and woodland, but not that large,
