Polished flint pendant

This polished flint pendant is owned by a buddy of mine. I theorize it's made of carter cave flint, aka Paoli Chert. I am working on him so I can obtain it for my collection. But I am not 100% sure on the material.
It would look right nice in my pendant collection.

It is not flat but rather made like a gorget, a slight hump

I don't think its quartz, could be a Flintridge variant with water chemical infusion, but from what I can tell, carter cave is the most likely.

See how it appears a hole was started.

It took some serious work to get flint that smooth. It's very unique.

I can see the grain in the first pic. You can’t see the grains in flint, they’re too small. I’d bet the farm that’s quartzite.
It’s a beauty.
