am going to be there 10/9 till 10/16 would like to hunt at least once any ideas how i could get adetector to use

The only place I know that rents detectors in Florida is Kellyco, and they're way up in the Orlando area and they don't rent cheap either. Maybe someone knows of another rental place.

There is ametal detector dealer in Broward County called "Reilly's Treasured Gold". You can find them on the internet. Sadly, Mr. Reilly passed away but I believe his family still runs the shop. They might have some rentals you can use.

Other than that, unless someone has a machine they'll let you borrow, you'll need to buy a used one.

Reilly's is right in Pompano, I'd loan you one but my main is going back to White's for the repairs they didn't do the first time. I live close by, hollar.
