Hit a local park today and ended the year with ring and a bit of other swag. The first ever. It's gold plated tungsten.

Hahaha yeah maybe I'll use it when I retire lol

My daughter came up for Christmas and left with my tungsten beauty, gorgeous band - that went on her thumb, and then she pulled out a "Spinner" I guess they're called - new generation to me - that went on her index finger. She left me with the lesser junk finds.

She told me those nice tungsten rings sell over $100 a pop. I always thought they were disappointing after the excitement of seeing a ring and hoping it's something to keep forever.

Hey, at least the junk stuff left her delighted with new bling :)

Very nice. I've only found a few after years of detecting. All in 2015 and 2016.

Congrats on the ring and other finds
