Porcelain shards puzzle pieces

Just dug these from a Victorian trash pit. I know for many these little broken shards have little value, but they do help interpret the site as to the type of usage the household had at their disposal. I always retrieve all the pieces and epoxy them back together and record them in a site journal. Both of these, an Alfred Meakin Tea Rose plate and an unknown maker's sugar bowl lid are about to be going into surgery.It's a lot of work but I think it is worth it. Found a small medicine slick as well.

Very nice job on the reconstruction! I have done some similar porcelain reconstructions...very rewarding to reconstruct a piece like that.
