PORTLAND RAILROAD button ??

Found this today in Portland Maine . As far as I know there was never just a Portland Railroad . There was the Boston & Portland RR founded 1839 which became the "Boston & Maine railroad in 1841 . There was also the Portland , Saco & Portsmouth railroad founded in 1842 which laid tracks from Portland ME. to South Berwick NH. to connect with the Boston & Maine ?? This company was bought by the Boston & Maine in 1887. It must be one of these companies ! Even with a magnifying glass I cannot see any backmark on this button so we won't get any help there Any Info out there ?? Thanks for looking ! MaineRelic
