Went to a site where I have found many cannonballs, bar shot and mortar fragments over the years. This is the site of a prolonged battle between the French and English in the early 1700s. i first thought it was another mortar fragment but it is very small with thin walls...probably wouldn't withstand being shot from a cannon. I'm thinking hand thrown projectile. Thoughts?
