I want to see an S...it looks like something is there...any chance of cleaning it for a better chance of seeing it?
Not sure I want to clean it. Might do more damage

I see something that looks like it could be an 'S', but it doesn't look raised enough. I think that poor penny is too far gone

Nope, sorry, no S.

Could be, I see something but it could be age-slag or an S

I love finding Indians....great find. Just not seeing the " s ".

I think if it had an "S" it would be more obvious than what i'm seeing.

It's okay if there is no "S" on that 1909. From what I've seen from "plymouthian12" in the past, I'm sure this season he will make up for the lack of an"S" on a beat up penny with a Gold ring with a big sparkling "D" on it !!! That's a fact Jack !
