I dug this large cent several weeks ago and it was my first LC.
My 2019 Red Book shows that some 1847 examples have a '7 over Small 7' blunder.
Could this be one?
Granted, the coin is in rough shape but my 20x loupe definitely shows what looks like the top of a smaller 7 under the larger 7.
Opinions?
