Greetings,
I found this item in Marietta, Georgia. It was located on the ground surface in my neighborhood that would have been a rear area during the Battle of Kennesaw Mountain. I thought it might be a shell fragment. A magnet confirms it's steel. It does have a slight curve but it seems pretty thin to be part of a shell. I thought it could be the bottom part of a cannister load perhaps? Or maybe just an old tractor part? Any help would be appreciated.
