Possible buckle piece.(NEW IMAGES)

Any guess on this one? I havent cleaned it. There is sand crusted to it from the ocean. Seems to have a small circle pattern on the top. Could it be to a shoe buckle? Drawer handle? A magnet does not stick to it.

In the pic the bars on the side look like they are thicker at the end that is broken. If so I'd say it's part of a shoe buckle

It looks like it could be but i can't say for sure. Sorry The shoe buckles got wider in the middle because the had the hole for the bar.

(UPDATE) I cleaned it a bit and noticed the part where I had scuffed it with my shovel. Could this be made of GOLD Initially I thought copper, but now am curious if it is possible to be gold?

Good find. It's good to see your still posting all you those cool finds you dig.
I've been in and out of the Hospital lately and haven't seen most of the recent stuff.
I'll check em all out as my heath improves.
