Not Duval, they have a diagnostic diamond cross section (usually)

How about a Beacon Island??

It was found years ago in Natchez MS if I am remembering correctly. Pretty sure it was found along the Saint Catherine creek area. It is a creek that runs through The Grand Village of the Natchez Indians. Pretty cool place. They have a museum there that has a lot of information on the Natchez Indians.

Larson - I posted a lengthier response on the other thread on this point. Being semi-uniface like this is pretty common in my experience on this type. I've found a hand full of them that are very similar and have the same workmanship. I think they're late Woodland. I don't know exactly what the type is, but I believe this is a classic type example, for whatever that's worth.
