Possible horseshoe? And a round thing with teeth

I realized that having a back yard next to a house built in 1686 maybe I should look no further to detect...tonight I pulled out a window weight (not pictured) a round metal piece with teeth and a possible horseshoe which I am wondering if it is could someone put a date on it? Nothing earth shattering but I need to see what's buried in my yard...

Looks like a corrective horseshoe. Very rusted. Likely old.
