I've been out a few times metal detecting during December here in Pennsylvania... Gee, I wonder when I will be able to say that sentence again???
I've come up with some nice things too, but I figured I better post up my items from yesterday, and then I will throw in some pictures of certain items from other days this month.
I'm using the phone app, since that is where the pictures are, so in order for me to keep them in order, I will post then as replies so everything stays together properly, anyway, here goes

First pictured is the finds from yesterday in a pile. I really like the green and white glass pot. There is a small dump behind this house and I root through it now and then... I retrieved 5 cokes in a pile under some rocks, but I kept the one in the picture because the rusted cap was still completely there...except for the writing of course...

Here is the coke.
Also, an aluminum bowl with a duck on it and like a pouring spout?? Ash tray of some sort? I like it either way... Also, a train... Had rubber wheels on it but then are long gone
Also found this itty bitty tin TANGEE... it was inside of one of those ponds milk glass bottles. something made me shake it and I heard this rattling inside... Pretty neat

Now, here are the detecting finds... First picture should be the handle of a pewter utensil and 2 small flat buttons.

Love finding these... Indian Head Cent... Ill never ever get tired of finding those... Dig a lot of junk at this spot that ring in like them, so this one was hard earned... Love it! Before and after a half hour olive oil soak and simply rubbing between my fingers...

Cool finds. I really like the train. Maybe we'll still be digging next month, but I have my doubts. Thanks for sharing.

Now here is a souvenir from north of me... It is missing the actual pin back part from which it would have been suspended. I did recheck the hole prior to even knowing it had another part, but they're wasn't any other signals so I am not sure if I will find that piece or not... Pretty neat how specific it was on the dates to I thought, maybe that's normal with these? I don't find too many items like this though. I thought that some of you guys would find this piece interesting... Enjoy

Don't ya love it? I'm in New Hampshire and it's weird to say the same thing. Although we are looking at snow tonight and tomorrow...hopefully it melts and I get a couple more days bundled up out there! Nice finds!

That Fob rocks hard ! I'd love to snag an old fob !

First time im trying to upload from my iPad, if it loads, this is a picture of what the souvenir would have looked like complete... Crossing my fingers now...

Awesome, it worked... I'll be back to the site eventually and im gonna try like heck to hopefully locate that missing piece!!

Good finds PADD. That looks like a colliery scene on the fob. Not sure which one though. There were many around the Wilkes-Barre area.
