Hey guys. I had a good day underwater metal detecting the river today. I was in the Chattahoochee River just north of Roswell, Georgia. My very first find was a HUGE knife. No reason why this knife would be out there. Made me wonder. Here are my today's finds.

If I keep one foot from getting impaled by some broken glass then my day was good. This video will be out Wednesday at 2PM.

Make sure you check out my videos of my treasure hunting. Thanks

The knife appears to be a bayonet of some sort.

Murder most foul I say by the fireplace undercandle light with the butcher knife

Damn...I was loving that knife until I zoomed in and saw where
it was made.

Great stuff NM, and the pics are appreciated. :occasion14:

More likely lost from a boat while fishing. Quite a variety of stuff!

Maybe just a cheap diver's knife lost when the boat capsized. Nice finds anyhow! Congrats.

Dont throw that bottle away it could be collectable

Maybe using the serrated edge of the knife to scale fish over the side of the boat and things got slimy...?

I've seen similar knives at the flea market, I'd imagine someone bought it as a cheap camp knife and managed to lose it. Clean it up and see if it will hold an edge...

Well, let's see here......a sunny day (hence the sunglasses), a guy was fishing and drinking some beer. Somebody started throwing bottles into the river scaring the fish away. The fisherman stabbed that person, tied him up with the wire, and tossed everything in the river to hide the evidence! I think I solved it! :hello2:

I think the ring is just to tie a lanyard to. Of course he didn't do that!

Fun day in the water, congratulations! :occasion14:

Nice bunch of saves. Congrats

I like that bayonet! Probably not a murder weapon. Most fisherman and hunters use those alot. :hello2:
