Looking for a little help identifying possible meteorites.

I’m an avid rock hound and found both of these in the New Mexico desert.

Thank you in advance for your opinions!
has not holes or little caves inside.
Just flat

Sorry, Richard, but none of the rocks pictured have any visible characteristics of meteorites.

Get a couple of handbooks. They will answer many of your questions.

I appreciate the feedback.

I did quite a few months of research prior to posting and I thought these had a few of the characteristics required, but I could be wrong.

From my understanding, fusion crust, color deviation between outer “crust” and inner, no sharp edges on the crust, contraction cracks, etc. are all indications of a meteor. It appears these specimens check those boxes. Respectfully, do you mind giving me a little more detail?

Below is one of the many sources I used and it appears what I have might meet the basic criteria.
