Possible damage from being chewed on, or just the way some flint fractures?

sorry, it is not mammoth or mastodon tusk at all. cross section of the tusk would reveal a crisscross pattern in the ivory. I am at work and cannot post photos for examples but do a search for it and you will see the pattern I'm talking about.....KEEP LOOKING~!!!
