These are potential sites, you still need to find out who the owner is and get permission. They might be in a state protected preserve and you could never get permission, I don’t know. You have to do the rest of the home work. All I know is they are in the woods and look very interesting. I would be all over them from my experience with lidar.
All of the satellite photos below for VT were taken during winter months. So all the trees(besides evergreens) don’t have any leaves. I looked on other sites like google earth and all I saw was green. So mostly in the woods.

Site #1 outside of Guilford center. Many potential cellar holes, along side or at the end of old roads/paths
Site #2 outside East Montpelier
3 potential cellar holes on old roads/paths
Site #3 outside North Vernon. Potential cellar holes and old roads/paths.
Site #4 outside of Heartwellville and the best IMO. So many old roads and paths I couldn’t trace my usual purple lines, they are all over this area. With 7-8 potential cellar holes along the “main” old road.
This next lidar pic is in the same area of site #4. Just 500-1000 ft NE of the previous photo of the old road with multiple cellar holes.
