Figured I'd post the shard I found in the creek today since it's a little different but similar to ones I've found in the past  and for some of us who are looking for them this might help train your eyes on what to look for. Wish I could find as many projectile points as I do pottery shards, I would be a happy person that's for sure lol

The last pic I had to prop it up on a cobble so the curve would show good. This shard has a very pronounced curve so the pot might have not been as large as the others. Regarding the cobble: Pretty sure it's not a tool and it's broke, although it does have some plant fossils in it which are cool. I've got quite a few of them and planning a rock garden for them later on.

The arrow pattern looks fabric impressed to me because it's so uniform and it looks to be on the inside, very interesting. The larger piece makes me think of the salt pan pottery you've been lucky to find. I'll see what I can find out about them.

I have a pendant with the same >>> designs on it just barely visible. Id like to know what it means if possible.

Thinking it would take getting to know the tribe(s) in your area and what their habits were maybe and what symbols they used and what they meant to them. May never know the answer to the question.

Woodland site. I was wondering if there was a book anybody might know of that tells what the designs might of meant to them? I sure would like to know.
