Pottery shard ? from Mojave desert

This piece was found in an area where pictographs exist. I know it's not much to go off of but could it be a piece of Native American pottery? Possibly Mojave or Chemehuevi, since those are the 2 I know lived in this region at one point.

It is Native American Brownware pottery. Nice big piece of it.
