Can anyone tell me what type of pottery this might be. They were found in the Shenandoah River where flatboats used to haul cargo to Front Royal Va. They are mainly white on the outside but dark brown on the inside. They look to be parts of a container that was large in circumference. The large piece has a flat edge on top and is about 6-7 inches long and about 4 in width. DSCI3212.webpDSCI3213.webpDSCI3214.webpDSCI3215.webpDSCI3216.webpDSCI3217.webp

Salt glaze stoneware.

They appear to be two fold from pots and larger crocks. Likely anywhere from the mid-1800s into the early 1900s.
