I stumbled on to this while actively working another puzzle and watching COOI. I just applied my crude image investigation tecniques on Poussin's Shepherds of Arcadia and hidden symbols, shapes, lettering, banners, maps just appeared. I tested on severals of his other works with similar results.
My only motivation is to get these clues and methods to the people that know what to do with them. As a searcher, i understand the value of clues. I am not on this hunt but happy to help those that are. I do not know how I can see this stuff, I just can. I have lots more.
to be specific, besides the obvious numbers i marked in the left item, look directly left from the nine to the arrow. The arrow is pointing to the forehead of the profile of a woman looking to the right. Deliberate chin and neck, then sloping breast. upper right is banner with writing. in item on right, i show my simple blur technique to reveal a rather large symbol, with other lettering around it. Poussin likes to use leaves, bushes and trees to conceal and obscure clues. Last is not Poussin, but found researching Mary Magdalene images. See the Tr on her chest? Trier?
