Pre Civil War Coat button marked Waterbury B&B GC (Golden Circle) c 1834-1843

I found a really old button in a yard that I detected many years ago but hadn’t found much back then due to heavy iron & it’d been detected before. My skills are better now & I found this button bumped up against the base of an old tree on Nashville Battlefield, which is in suburbs now. Back-mark is Waterbury B&B (Benedict Burnham) GC (Golden Circle) c 1834-1843.

That’s a beauty. The pattern on the button reminds me of the Louis Vuitton pattern. Nice confederate 3 ringers!
