Hey Guys,

After the rainy Saturday we had up here i hit my friend's field hard yesterday. Ive hunted his farm a number of times but he recently plowed up part of his field that he hasn't plowed since he bought the property. Its very seldom that i get into a farm field out here and dont find something worthwhile. Yesterday it was a 1914 British Penny, a KGII copper, a 1724 copper, (Im not sure exactly what kind of coin the 1724 is, but i know ive found one the same size, but the front doesn't have the edge around the bust. The previous one i dug was a 1734) and the zinger of them all was the holed 1737 Half Real! I sure was getting tired of digging Budweiser cans. Thanks for lookin and happy hunting everyone!

Update: The 1724 small copper is a KGI Farthing. Found that out thanks to "A Guide to Artifacts of Colonial America" by Ivor Noel Hume.

Thanks! I tell my friend that ill clean the bad metals from his "organic" farm field if i can keep the good stuff. Hasnt failed yet! Keep finding pruning tools that he and his workers lost. He seems to value the tools more then the cool old relics i find.

Congrats on the finds!:icon_thumright:
