Preform? Probably not…

Got this one today. Slightly scalloped edges; could be natural. The base looks like intent to haft into an arrow or tool. Im debating the preform idea.
I’m sure it is at least a piece of flint debitage. Input? Thanks

It's hard to see the flaking on it to say whether its worked or not. The shape is good, though that "tail" does seem a bit on the short side. What does the top look like? If it's a point then from the shape I would guess the top is broken off, so would have a flat broken edge there.

Yes, looks like the tip snapped off. Possibly a preform that went amok in the early stages. ?

I'd definitely have picked it up. Excuse my poor photo editing skills, but this is what comes to my mind if it weren't broken. But again, hard to say.

I don’t get the feeling those are intentional notches, i could see a preform or maybe just a scraper, kind of a tricky one to sort out.

In my opinion it is just a large waste flake and not a broken point.
