Tonite after work my wife and I hit another field, once again she got some cool first! First coin dug was by her (again) and it was her first buffalo, nice full date too. She dug a nice presidential watch Fob, to me it was the best find made today. Nice piece of history. I got the BIG chief, at first I thought it might be a hood emblem off an old car, but after cleaning it, it appears to be pewter and don't think they would ever use pewter for a hood ornament. I got a CW cuff button, pewter spoon handle, door bell thingee, cufflink, junk buckles and wheat, MrS G4E did real good, way better than me..lol

Great find... appears to be of a 1926 Pontaic. Not sure if they used pewter or pot metal.

Wow! to bad it's in such bad shape. Really nice finds!

Roosevelt/Fairbanks political watch fob:
Lot Detail - Roosevelt/Fairbanks 1 3/8
Fairbanks was elected Vice President of the United States in 1904 on the Republican ticket with Theodore Roosevelt and served all four years. Fairbanks sought the Republican nomination for President but Roosevelt (who chose to not seek reelection) supported William Howard Taft as his potential successor in 1908, sending Fairbanks back to the practice of law.(per Wiki)
Don....
