I I foun this a while ago searching old foundation of the lake that are exposed during the winter.

I am going to take impression on it somehow

Any suggestions other than pencil and paper

Why not just take a good clear picture of it and then play with it in Photoshop? Maybe turn it into black & white and then mirror image that?

Yeah I can do that , mess with brightness, contrast and gamma.

After that I guess what I cn do is google the text to possibly get a book or newspaper

I found a few of those in the river in Albany Georgia. Mine were fragments of an old add. I looked at them in the mirror in my living room to see what they said. After that, I gave them to a friend of mine who runs a local newspaper up the road.
