this pic says plate 2 by some curtis guy.anybody know what a good price i should offer for some indian prints?

If you can ID the photographer/artists you'll have a better chance of selling it for more than the price of a stock photo.
Can we see the signature?

Hi Steve71, Here's a link for you to read...Not too sure what "Plate 1" means but if its from Curtis's original photography equipment it'd be worth quite a bit. Perhaps it refers to say, "picture 1, picture 2"..etc...Very Famous as you'll see when you read the link. An unnumbered print could be very inexpensive but That is a Cool Picture/Photo.

Here's the history of the picture as shown on Miner Girl's referenced page:
Geronimo - Apache (1905), Description by Edward S. Curtis: This portrait of the historical old Apache was made in March, 1905. According to Geronimo's calculation he was at the time seventy-six years of age, thus making the year of his birth 1829. The picture was taken at Carlisle, Pennsylvania, the day before the inauguration of President Roosevelt, Geronimo being one of the warriors who took part in the inaugural parade at Washington.
