Didn't realize it at first. I can be sooooo stupid sometimes.
I was on the dry/wet beach yesterday. I use the Infinium to pinpoint but thought to myself..... 'self, why not use your Garrett ProPointer?'
So that is what I did. Went to the truck and got my pinpointer. Found a target, dug up a scoop, Infini said it's still there, just a little deeper. So I dug up a scoop and checked the hole with the pinpointer.
BZZZZEEEP BZZZZZEEEP its deeper!
Dug again... BZZZZEEEP BZZZZZEEEP its deeper!
Dug again... BZZZZEEEP BZZZZZEEEP its deeper!
Dug again... BZZZZEEEP BZZZZZEEEP its deeper!
Did this until I was approaching my armpit in the sand.
It was then that I realized it's going off on the saltwater filling the hole.
So much for the trying to make it easy....
Did find a nice shiney BL bottle cap somewhere up in the second scoop of sand.
