Now just 8g of 14k scrap. Managed to dig this in the low tide this afternoon in Malibu. Obviously not a fresh drop.

Still learning the CTX but I had no doubt that it was gold when the coil went over it.

That's a Nice old chunk of Yellow! I hate it when the stones are missing or there is a emblem missing from the stone.

That's a shame stone is missing - but depends if you would sell it either way
if the stone(s) are in it and ring is not beat - I try to hold onto them
wedding bands- bent or broken rings I will scrap - I try to return class rings
- and will not sell even if I fail on them - I figure I will try again down the road
I have over a dozen right now that ive run into road blocks on - most are old
ones and schools are gone - which makes it a little harder - some ...person transferred
which can make it tuff but usually there
are records out there - just got to find time to dig deeper
