I recently bought a Velleman cs150 metal detector. It's my first metal detector so I may be doing some beginner mistake.
Anyway... The problem is that when I turn the mode switch to "off" the detector makes a constant sound, as if it detects metal (even if no metal is near the detector). The only way i have found that really turns it off is to remove the batteries. When it's turned on it can detect metal so it's not like it isn't working at all.
If anyone can give me some kind of advice that would be great
